Get Ready with Me! PM&R Locum Physician on Assignment in Alaska

I've officially landed in Anchorage, Alaska, after a long night of travel, and the locum tenens adventure is already underway! This week is dedicated to orientation for this inpatient rehab direct contract, which has been challenging due to the lengthy, self-managed credentialing process—I had to stay incredibly flexible, especially since I only received my flight information last week and no itinerary. I'm focusing on proactively exploring the community by trying to be more social than usual, planning to join a hiking group (after buying bear spray!), and searching thrift stores for gear, even after witnessing a dramatic incident at the hotel breakfast this morning.
