Holiday Coverage As a Locum Doctor

I'm back in South Carolina for a repeat locum tenens assignment, to cover a Thanksgiving shift at a familiar, well-run 40-bed rehab unit. My rate is fantastic at $$1,500 for an eight-hour day, plus time-and-a-half for the holiday, and I successfully negotiated an Airbnb stay so my husband and dog can join me for the holiday. After this five-day shift, I'm heading back to my VA fee-for-service job, making for a busy few weeks ahead before my first direct contract in Ohio. Not to brag, but time and a half coverage equals $281/hour. Not bad!

Stacking cash is one thing, but my real passion is spreading the wealth. I’ve seen both sides of healthcare, and my true passion is empowering people to make more money, work less, and lead a fulfilling life. Check out my short course that covers all the essentials HERE and please don’t hesitate to reach out HERE for any questions on how to get started. Don’t forget to follow my journey on social media!
